Summary
- Golemites are basically a smaller and less powerful version of the Golem. A Golemite has one-fifth of the Golem's damage per second, damage upon death, and hitpoints.
- When a Golem dies, it splits into two, three or four Golemites depending on the level.
- Both Golems and Golemites do splash damage, similar to Balloons and Rocket Balloons, when destroyed.
- Golemites prioritize defensive structures above all other targets, and will bypass all other types of enemy buildings and troops while any defenses remain on the battlefield. This is true even if they are under attack by enemy Clan Castle troops, heroes or Skeleton Trap skeletons. Note that like all troops that prioritize defenses, Golemites do not consider the Clan Castle to be a defense regardless of whether or not it contains enemy troops, but do consider the defending Grand Warden and the activated Town Hall weapon (if any) to be defensive buildings.
Once all defenses are destroyed, Golemites become like any other troop with no preferred target; they will attack the nearest building to them regardless of type, and will turn and attack enemy units if they become aware of any nearby and can fight back against them. However, they will not switch targets to enemy units until their previous target was destroyed. - The Golemite is considered to take up 6 housing spaces for the purpose of determining its interactions with the Spring Trap, Tornado Trap, Clone Spell and Recall Spell.
Upgrade Differences
- The Golemite undergoes a significant graphic change at levels 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. The Golemites go through graphic changes whenever the Golem does, and gets the same change.

- At level 5, the Golemites gains purple, crystal-like spikes, quite similar to those on the level 3 Wizard Tower and his entire body gains a purple/gray color.
- At level 6, the Golemites crystal changes from purple to pink, and a few more is added on its back
- At level 7, the crystals turn into a lavender color and get sharper.
- At level 8, the crystals turn into sky blue.
- At level 9, the crystals turn into purple and the Golemite's entire body is in a grayish purple color.
- At level 10, the Golemites entire crystals are now blue. The body is also in a blueish gray color.
- At level 11, the Golemites crystals are a greenish mix and its skin is also now a greenish color..

Trivia
- As one of the six sub-troops in the Home Village (the others being the Skeleton, the Lava Pup, the Yetimite, the Big Boy and the Ice Pup), it cannot be trained, placed or donated directly via the Clan Castle (although the parent Troops can).
- If you have a Golem in your Clan Castle and it splits into Golemites when defending your base, it will not return to the Clan Castle after the battle even if all Golemites survive.
- Golemites attack slightly slower than Golems.
- The info image for Golemites is not unique, as it shares a duplicated image of a Golem.
- Golemites are just regular golems scaled in small size meaning that they don't have a unique sprites in the game.
- Much like the Golem, the Golemites very much resemble "the Thing", a character in Fantastic Four.
- The Golem was likely inspired by the Promethean from Age of Mythology, as both units are stone creatures that split in two, smaller versions of themselves once defeated. Because of this, the Golemites resemble the Promethean Offspring from Age of Mythology.
