Summary

• Treasure is purchasable from the Shop. They provide immediate resources to the player.
• The player can purchase certain amounts of resources with Gems, and certain amounts of Gems with real-world money.

Purchasing Resources

• Resources (Gold, Elixir, Dark Elixir, Builder Gold, Builder Elixir) can be purchased with Gems.
• There are three different offers to buy these resources and the amounts provided with each offer vary based on the storage capacity of that resource and also the number of resources you currently have.
  • The first offer is to fill storages by 10%. This provides you with resources equivalent to 10% of your current storage capacity. For example, if your storage capacity of Gold is 4 million, this will give you 400,000 Gold if purchased. Note that if your storage is more than 90% full, you will be unable to purchase this.
  • The second offer is to fill storages by half. This provides you with resources equivalent to half of your current storage capacity and works similarly to the first offer. If your storages are more than half full, you will be unable to purchase this.
  • The third offer is to fill storages completely. This provides you with the remaining resources necessary to fill your storages, and based on the amount of that resource you have in the storage, the amount provided will vary. For example, if you have a storage capacity of 6 million Elixir, and have 2 million Elixir, purchasing this will provide you with 4 million Elixir. It cannot be purchased when your storages are completely full.
• The prices of certain amounts of Gold is identical to that of Elixir. In other words, it costs equal amounts of Gems to purchase equal amounts of Gold and Elixir. Dark Elixir has separate pricing and costs more Gems.
• The tables below provide some threshold values for which the cost calculations are based off of.

• To calculate the cost of resources, we may calculate using the algorithm below:
  1. Let the resource amount be $X$. Determine where $X$ lies in the six thresholds for the relevant table above (for example, if you're looking to purchase Dark Elixir, look it up in the Dark Elixir table above).
  2. If $X$ is less than the first threshold, then the cost to purchase $X$ resources is equal to 1 Gem.
  3. Otherwise, let $T_1$ and $T_2$ be the two resource thresholds that $X$ lies between (such that $T_1\leq X < T_2$), with associated gem costs $G_1$ and $G_2$ respectively (If $X$ is greater than the last threshold, treat it as though it lied between the last two thresholds).
  4. The gem cost for purchasing $X$ resources is then given by the below expression:

$cost = \frac{X-T_1}{T_2-T_1}\times (G_2-G_1) + G_1,$

where any fractions are rounded to the nearest integer.
