Hey Ssfang, first of all, thanks for helping me with "my army", but I don't know how to do My Spells and the other things.Could you possible send me other templates?I don't need anything fancy, just something like the other one.
You don't need the time zone, however if you write: ~~~~ it will require a time. ex. SsfangMessage WallBlogContribs 03:30, September 10, 2013 (UTC)
And if you write ~~~~~
You will get only the time 03:31, September 10, 2013 (UTC)
First of all, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to create links within your attack strategies; that's a big help. While the links you are creating work, there is actually a preferred method that you might not be aware of.
You've already figured out how to change the displayed link via Display However, that's not always necessary if the link itself is the beginning of what you want to display. Plurals are a great example of this: If Barbarian is the link you are trying to use, but you want 'Barbarians' to show up instead, you can simply make the link look like this:
Wikia (like Wikipedia) is smart enough to include the trailing characters as part of the link, so Barbarians is unnecessary in this case.
This is true for any number of alphabetic characters (for instance Witches works just fine -- Witches), but possessives like Witch's doesn't due to the presence of the apostrophe (Witch's). In this case your Witch's (Witch's) form would be proper.
I applaud you on your ambitions, but are you sure you can create enough content for a full page on each one of your subjects?
You may not yet be finished with them, but as a stand-alone guide your Town Hall 1 and Town Hall 2 guides are about 100 words long at the moment. Full-page strategy guides tend to average around 1,500 to 2,000 words; the shortest ones we have (and those probably are too short) are still over 400 words. In order for these guides to stay as stand-alone guides, they are going to need a great deal more content.
I have a couple recommendations for you. One, rather than a page for every Town Hall level, concept and troop, I would make three guides in total, one for Town Hall Strategies, one for Concepts you Need to Know, and one for Troops. The other is to concentrate on completing one guide first and making it very strong, rather than worrying about all the guides you plan on creating sometime in the future. If there were two Clash of Clans wikis, one having a large number of partially-finished (or barely-started) guides and the other had only a few guides but they were all completed and well written, I am pretty sure you'd be coming back to the second wiki for your information from then on. That's the wiki we want to be.
