They have the highest damaging unit in dark barracks in terms of dps i think.

right. Actually Supercell unlocks the level 6 Wizard for a purpose... Archer level 6 for same, also Dragon level 4. To discourage whole range-attacks... because the percentage of DPS and HP increase is much lower than previous upgrades. They are fav troops among clashers, and actually I hope that the physical/melee troops raise up. (Yeah, similar to pokemon, I really hate using magical move, for especially, psychic-type special-categorized move 'cos it just way too overpowered in Generation 1 and... well they are really need to be Magic-Break...)

Valks is just splash damage not ranged so it doesn't bother too much for me.

honestly the long training time isn't noticeable if you use valks with other elixir troops (which you should) and they actually cost less de (for their housing space) than hogs. If you ask me, they should have their splash range increased because there is no point of their splash damage if it only affects walls and troops. Besides, just like how the hogs were suddenly OP in the summer update, I think that supercell should make valks more OP to shed more light on them so people would stop focusing on hogs.

I actually think that's a great idea. Maybe 5 isn't the right answer, but some reduction would be a real boost.

its also because she cant jump over walls

most people prefer hogs as they are the only troop that can jump over a wall without a jump spell

even though supercell decreased hog riders hitpoints in the recent update as too many people use hogs, people still use em because of the ability to jump over walls and lesser time and lesser DE.

they even increased the hitpoints and the DPE of valkyrie in the recent update

i myself use 25 hogs, 1 pekka, 1 healer, 5 wizards and 8 archers for battle

hogs are my faverite troop
